Rob Giles the harbour master said he was in negotiations with Exeter University and the Environment Agency over water quality monitoring and hoped a scheme would be in place within 12 months. The committee heard how there were 18 entries to their Young Champions Award, but could not comment on the proposed Dart River Action Group until its aims and objectives were known and they approached the DHNA board
The harbour master said he was still in negotiations with the Pilots National Pension Fund and hoped these issues would be resolved soon. The moorings waiting list had fallen from 125 to 118, and a new draft policy for 2015 had been started. A new crane was needed for the Hoodown yard, and DHNA’s half of Town Jetty was earmarked for renewal in 2017.
